Halfway Amsterdam 21 and over

Couple massage in Amsterdam booked by the partner who arrives first

One of you gets there first, with a key card, a quiet room and several hours to fill. That partner ends up doing the arranging, and most of it can be finished before the second plane has even pushed back.

The short answer

  • She comes to you, at the address the two of you are already using
  • Forty to sixty minutes across the districts this site covers
  • Half ahead on a first booking, with the total written out first
  • Twenty-one or over, guests and therapists alike

Everything here is settled in the thread the two of you share. No form is filled in and no account is opened anywhere.

What the first partner can settle alone

Nearly all of the practical side. The address and the room number, which only exist once somebody has checked in. The hour. The length. Whether it is one therapist or two. A name from the profiles, if the two of you already agreed on one from two countries. The deposit, which is the part that actually holds the booking.

None of that needs the second person to be reachable. What it does need is the second person to have agreed to the booking in principle, which is a different thing from being available to confirm a room number. Both people in the room must have said yes to the session and both must be twenty-one or over, and that is checked at the door rather than assumed from a thread.

The room number is the piece only you have

A booking arranged from two countries a fortnight ago has an address on it and usually nothing more precise. The partner who checks in first is the only person who can turn that into something a therapist can actually use, so put it in the thread as soon as the key card is in your hand.

Add whatever else the building has just taught you. Which entrance is the one that opens. Whether reception asks visitors to be met. Whether the lift needs a card after a certain hour. Whether the room is at the back, up a staircase that a lift does not serve, or behind a door that a second key card opens. Five minutes of this on the afternoon of the first arrival is worth more than any amount of planning done before either of you saw the place.

Paying the deposit from the room

Half the fee confirms a booking made more than twenty-four hours ahead, every two therapist booking, every eight hour block, every session of three hours or more, every Schiphol airport hotel address, every peak date, and a first booking with the house. A reunion evening arranged in advance is nearly always in that list, so the deposit is the normal case rather than the exception.

For the two of you that means 270 euros ahead on a ninety minute booking with one therapist, 360 on two hours, and 720 on two hours with a therapist each. It goes by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto, on details that appear in the confirmed thread and nowhere else. The balance is settled in the room when she arrives, and a balance in cash in another major currency is fine when the exact sum has been agreed in writing first.

Booking something for yourself while you wait

Perfectly ordinary, and it needs no framing. A single guest with one therapist is 180 euros an hour, 270 for ninety minutes and 360 for two hours. The partner who lands at eleven in the morning and has until eight in the evening has a long afternoon, and an hour of it spent this way is a better use of the room than a flight tracker is.

Two practical notes. Keep it clear of the evening booking so the room has time to be a room again. And if you want the same therapist for both, say so when you arrange the first one, because a woman who has already given you an afternoon hour may have arranged the rest of her day around it. Four hand massage, two therapists on one guest at 360 an hour, is the other thing that afternoon sometimes becomes.

Choosing her when only one of you is looking

The profiles carry photographs, an age, the languages on her file and the district she travels from, which is enough to choose from at a distance. Couples usually do this together weeks earlier. When they have not, the partner who arrives first is choosing for two people, and the useful instinct is to pick for the quieter of you rather than the louder.

Send the link into your own thread anyway, even if the other person is in the air. A name your partner sees before landing is a name nobody has to introduce at the door. If the woman you both wanted is not free, the answer says who is, and the choice comes back to you rather than being made for you. The roster is the whole list, not a shortlist for your dates.

What not to decide on your own

Two things. The first is whether this is happening at all. A session arranged as a surprise for a partner who has not been told is not a booking this house takes, and a therapist who works that out on the doorstep will leave. The second is the shape of it, meaning one therapist or two, which is a decision about how an evening feels rather than about what it costs.

Everything else is fair game for the partner with the key card. If the two of you disagree about the length once the other has landed, a booking can usually be stretched in the thread before she sets out, subject to her evening having room in it. It is much easier to add thirty minutes at six in the evening than to remove them at ten.

Handing the thread over, or not

Do not. One thread, one voice, for the whole visit. Two people writing about one evening produces two bookings or one booking with two hours in it, and untangling that costs the hour you were trying to protect. The partner who is not in the thread can read a screenshot in four seconds.

If the arranging partner is going to be unreachable at some point, a flight of their own later in the week, say so and give the hour by which a reply can still be read. The thread that holds a booking is the thread that changes it, and the contact page sets out what belongs in a first message. Anything that needs a record rather than a conversation goes to the written address on that page instead.
